Welcome
to Dogwood Cottage Campsite -
a small, family-run
Camping and Caravanning Club
CS site in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Set in the pretty East Sussex village of Brede, we offer campers
the chance to relax in quiet, friendly surroundings and a base
from which to explore the area's fine beaches, ancient woodlands
and rich, historic diversity. Dogwood is blessed with two fine
country pubs within walking distance, a bakery, convenience
shop and a weekly Farmer's Market. Dog and animal-friendly, we are an
ideal site for hikers, cyclists, families with young children or
couples. Close to Rye, Battle, Camber
Sands and Hastings, we're open all year round.
We look forward to
welcoming you to Dogwood!

Fire Bowl hire & wood supply
Hot showers & 4 toilets
Hard standing options

'A little slice of
rural paradise...'
Here at
Dogwood we live in harmony with the environment and
try, as far as possible, to operate an organic,
sustainable and environmentally-friendly campsite.
We sell our own free range organic eggs and a small
range of camping essentials. Our
electric hook-ups are powered partly using solar energy.
We
hope you find Dogwood to be a magical place in which
to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature and the
wonderful birdsong. Here, you can spend hours
watching the wild rabbits, the free range chickens,
Cayuga, Indian Runner and Muscovy ducks or getting to know our pygmy goats
Olive and Pumpkin or Dino, our miniature Shetland
pony. And at night, around a cosy
campfire, you can toast marshmallows and look out
for shooting stars under the magnificent dark skies
of Brede.

Life's caravan is
hastening on its way;
Brood not on troubles of the coming day
But fill the wine-cup ere sweet night be gone
And snatch a pleasant moment, while you may!
